Baltimore: Emergency protest

The Baltimore People’s Power Assembly strongly condemns the US and Israel’s brutal strikes across Iran. Air strikes on civilian and military targets come after weeks of provocation against Iran by Donald Trump and the entire US government. Casualties from the US campaign include over 50 children and teachers at an elementary school. These attacks on Iran not only violate the country’s sovereignty but are pure acts of terror.

While Trump and the military industrial complex spend billions waging war in Iran, people in the United States suffer joblessness, poverty, and unaffordable healthcare. We need investment in the people’s needs – not war with Iran.

In response to these terrorist attacks on Iran, the Baltimore People’s Power Assembly is calling for a demonstration in Baltimore to demand: stop the war on Iran. We need money for healthcare, education, and jobs – not war on Iran.
