Atlanta: Rally for Palestine, in defense of Sheikh Jarrah, May 15

SATURDAY, MAY 15 AT 1 PM EDT
ATLANTA: Rally for Palestine in Defense of Sheikh Jarrah!
135 Andrew Young International Blvd NE, Atlanta

Join the Palestinian Youth Movement on Saturday, May 15th at 1:00 PM at the Fountain of Rings (135 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Meet at the sidewalk in front of Waffle House.) to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of al-nakba, the violent mass expulsion of Palestinians that occurred in 1948, and stand against the injustices taking place in Jerusalem, Sheikh Jarrah.

For over a decade, the Zionist occupation army has terrorized Palestinians in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem in attempt to forcibly evict families from their homes and replace them with illegal Israeli settles. Over the last few weeks, violence has escalated and Palestinian families are resisting expulsion. We ask Atlanta to show up and express our outrage and solidarity. Until liberation and return!

NOTE: We will be observing CDC guidelines and ask that those attending wear masks and take social distancing measures. Masks and hand sanitizer will also be provided.
