May 2 will mark the sixth anniversary of the massacre of nearly 50 anti-fascists in Odessa, Ukraine. Activists were attacked by a racist neo-Nazi mob, similar to those in Charlottesville in 2017 and Lansing in 2020. Activists were driven into the House of Trade Unions, which was then set afire. Some anti-fascists were burned alive; others were shot or beaten to death as they tried to escape the blaze. The youngest victim was just 17.
The U.S.-backed far-right Ukrainian government has not punished any of the perpetrators to this day, despite ample video and photographic evidence. But survivors of the massacre were jailed or driven into exile. We do not forget or forgive! Join us to demand justice for the victims, the survivors and the families of Odessa.
